KN95 PTFE nano-film mask

In 2020, due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19, healthy travel has become one of the most pressing issues in people's lives.  Wear a mask, wash hands frequently and ventilate frequently......  As the main tool of dustproof and anti-virus, which mask has better protective function?  

 

At present, the masks made by melt-blown non-woven commonly in the domestic market, which are mainly characterized by low price but poor durability:  

 

1. In the production process of melt-blown non-woven mask, static electricity needs to be loaded to the melt-blown material, so the production efficiency is relatively low;  

 

2.In the using of melt-blown non-woven mask,once the mask due to water vapor or bacterial virus in the static layer deposition lead to electrostatic elimination of the charged layer , the filtration effect will be greatly reduced, and it cannot be washed.  This is why melt-blown non-woven masks need to be replaced every four hours under strict medical conditions.

 

For the existing deficiency of melt-blown non-woven masks, JuHua KN95 PTFE nano-films mask r&d team through the research of preliminary market, develop production formula optimization and performance testing, finally the e-PTFE resin suitable for mask film was developed, and through downstream partners processing into masks with PTFE bidirectional stretch film, and made into masks.  

 

Juhua e-PTFE resin is used to make high purity water filter membrane and outdoor jacket inside the clothing membrane mainly.  it is not easy to make a micro filtration membrane suitable for masks, thick Membrane  affects permeability, so that people can not breathe,or easy to crack at thin membrane, cannot ensure the stability of mask filtration effect.

 

By optimizing the formula, the r&d team developed the e-PTFE resin with high molecular and narrow molecular, and constantly adjusted the paste extrusion, bidirectional stretching process and other methods to make the thickness of the micro filtration membrane less than 1um.  Micromorphology of PTFE microfiltration membrane is 3d nano-pore structure, there are network connectivity, hole inserts, channel bending and other very complex changes in the hole of the three-dimensional structure , there may be a plurality of micropores to form a channel, there may be a micropore connected with a plurality of channels, can filter most of the 200~300nm particles,  It has good air permeability and excellent filtration efficiency.  In the test process of Juhua KN95 PTFE nano-film mask, the filtration efficiency of the mask can reach 97% ,according to the KN95 mask inspection method.  

 

Juhua KN95 PTFE nano-film mask mainly adopts physical principle to isolate pollutants in the air.  E-ptfe resin has excellent properties such as strong acid,strong alkali , heat and cold resistance, non-viscosity, non-water absorption and atmospheric aging resistance, so it can be washed many times to improve the utilization rate of masks.  In addition to filtering PM2.5 and other particulate matter in the air in haze weather, novel corona virus can also be effective in filtering.  

 

In order to make the Juhua KN95 PTFE nano-film mask more convenient for people to use, under the guidance of the leadership of Juhua group, the r&d team held several discussions on mask brands.  In terms of structure design, Juhua KN95 PTFE nanofilm mask mainly has two types: plane mask and 3D mask.  The plane mask is produced in a unified specification, and the 3D mask is designed according to the characteristics of face contour, which is closer to the face and improves the filtering effect of the mask.  

 

In December of this year, Juhua KN95 PTFE nano-film mask officially enter the market, in order to build up the "post-epidemic era" of a better life of health and safety line, let's work together.
